Now, he is concentrating on cultivating magical luminous plants in the "valley", bringing the magical world of Avatar into reality. In a few months, plants like fireflies may appear on the bedside of citizens and become night lights.

In the two years since its establishment, HKUST Silicon Valley has grown rapidly and the innovation ecosystem has flourished. It has attracted more than 1,725 ​​new technology companies and 216 funds of various types, with a total scale of more than 240 billion yuan. The reserve of innovative resource clues has reached 73,000, serving more than 15,000 alumni, and attracting return visits from more than 1,700 academicians, scholars and entrepreneurs at home and abroad.

At the 2024 China Newspaper Technology Annual Conference held on November 6, the Anhui Party Media Cloud "Science and Technology" submitted by "Anhui Daily" won the first prize for the 2023-2024 National Media Convergence Technology Application Case. USTC Silicon Valley is the first batch of units to settle in the "Science and Technology" and is also a strategic cooperation unit.

Strengthening the province with science and technology is one of the major strategies of Anhui Province. The transformation of HKUST Silicon Valley from an ‘experimental field’ to a ‘high-yield field’ depends on both science and technology, capital funds, and scientific and technological communication.
