Shenbi Bio's "Star Firefly Night Flower" - the country's first self-luminous plant technology application project at night, was successfully awarded the "Excellent Entrepreneurship Project" due to its significant technological innovation and rural industry integration potential. Li Renhan, the company’s founder and chairman, was also awarded the honorary title of “Young Pioneer of Capital Rural Revitalization”.
The core of the "Star Firefly Night Flower" project stems from Shenbi Bio's continued deep development in the field of synthetic biology. Through gene editing technology, special bioluminescent genes are introduced into plants, allowing them to achieve safe, long-lasting, and active light source expression at night without relying on external energy. This technology has brought new product solutions to the fields of landscape and cultural tourism, and is gradually being used in diverse scenarios such as night tours in cultural and tourism scenic spots, technology-themed tours, specialty hotels and B&Bs, and municipal park greening.
