On November 20, a key cooperation aimed at promoting the standardized and efficient development of my country's non-edible flower genetic engineering industry was officially settled at the Horticulture Building of China Agricultural University. This marked a key step in my country's construction of a non-edible flower genetic engineering compliance system and established a demonstration platform and channel for technology transformation and market access of the entire industry. Beijing Shenbi Dongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Flower Development and Quality Control of China Agricultural University held a signing ceremony for the joint construction of the "Non-Edible Flower Genetic Engineering Innovation Center" here.
Focus on compliance and efficiency to build the cornerstone of industrial development
This signing ceremony has attracted much attention from all walks of life. Zhou Bo, Secretary of the Agricultural and Industrial Committee of the Haidian District Committee of Beijing and Director of the District Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau, and Jia Lixin, Chief of the Industrial Development Section, came to provide guidance; Li Tianhong, Dean of the College of Horticulture, China Agricultural University, and the Scientific Research Project Office of the Institute of Science and Technology Development Director Xin Mingming; as well as Li Renhan, founder and chairman of Beijing Shenbi Dongsheng Technology Co., Ltd., and Hu Changchun, chief operating officer, attended the ceremony, marking the joint efforts of government, industry, academia and research to open a new chapter in the innovative development of my country's non-edible flower industry.

The "Non-Edible Flower Genetic Engineering Innovation Center" focuses on the construction of industry compliance declaration and rapid approval system. This move aims to solve the key bottlenecks in current industrial development and pave a "highway" for technological innovation products to enter the market by establishing scientific and clear technical standards and application processes, thereby realizing a development vision centered on "industry empowerment and government support".

The Beijing Haidian District Government’s close attention to and strong support for the industrialization of cutting-edge agricultural science and technology has injected strong impetus into this cooperation. This cooperation is closely aligned with the national science and technology innovation and modern agricultural development strategies, and is expected to form a replicable and promoteable new model of industrial supervision and services, providing important reference for the biological breeding industry in Beijing and even across the country.

The Beijing Key Laboratory of Flower Development and Quality Control of China Agricultural University has a profound foundation in basic flower research and technology development, providing solid scientific research support for the innovation center; and Beijing Shenbi Dongsheng Technology Co., Ltd., as a core enterprise within the Shenbi Bio brand system and the executive body of this cooperation, carries the important mission of technology industrialization and compliance transformation. Shenbi Bio is certified by Sullivan as "the pioneer of self-luminous plants in China". Relying on synthetic biology and gene editing technology, it broke the monopoly of foreign technology and successfully developed the first high-brightness self-luminous plant in China. It has now achieved mass production of more than 20 kinds of high-brightness self-luminous plants and has more than 300 varieties under development, demonstrating its profound R&D accumulation and commercialization capabilities. Beijing Shenbi Dongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. will focus on promoting the construction and operation of the innovation center based on this solid foundation.
Create the future together and promote the natural integration of science and technology
At the ceremony, Li Renhan, founder and chairman of Beijing Shenbi Dongsheng Technology Co., Ltd., said: "This in-depth cooperation with top universities, combined with government guidance and support, will greatly accelerate the compliant transformation of scientific and technological achievements. We look forward to combining the company's experience in productization and commercialization with the laboratory's scientific research background to jointly set a benchmark for the industry."

Representatives of China Agricultural University have high hopes for this cooperation. The attendance of Li Tianhong, dean of the affiliated School of Horticulture, and Xin Mingming, director of the Scientific Research Project Office, fully reflects the high importance the school attaches to cooperation. The school believes that through the resource integration and complementary advantages of both parties, the center will become an important base leading technological innovation, standard setting and talent training in the field of non-edible flower genetic engineering in my country.
The establishment of the "Non-edible Flower Genetic Engineering Innovation Center" is not only an upgrade of school-enterprise cooperation, but also a forward-looking layout to meet the needs of future bio-economic development. It heralds that we will move from technology chasing to rule-leading in this field, bringing safer, more diverse and more efficient technology products to the cultural tourism, municipal, commercial and consumer markets, and continuing to promote the deep integration of technology and nature.
